Before we do anything we carefully
analyse your current business
activities and future business needs

real-world accountancy experience to
understand just what your objectives
are and how to achieve them. Within
time and within budget.
We set objectives, and make a plan.
We’ll formally agree objectives with
you - and demonstrate precisely how
we’ll meet every objective and every
milestone. And we’ll design an
implementation plan - the blueprint
for your installation.
We examine your processes ... in
detail.
We do the detail work, mapping
current business processes,
incorporating any desired
improvements and making concrete
suggestions. These then form our
system design document – a precise
description of how everything will
perform.
We build your system to your
requirements
Starting with a pilot database, and
using real data from your business,
we start the process of tailoring
everything to your specifications -
from individual reports to
personalised screens.
We train your team
And bring your own project team up
to speed, making sure you’re
familiar with how everything works,
the terminology that’s used and the
overall architecture. Any
specialised training, for individual
business processes, we’ll carry out
later.
We install relevant system
The base software is installed and
we continue to fine-tune. We’ll
create a demonstration database
(using real data from your own
business if possible) and test and
re-test our back-up procedures. All
in anticipation of going live.
We pilot and configure
Your project team pilots the
software within your own business,
carrying out typical transactions,
and using the results to refine the
business processes and documents
we’ve agreed. Your reports are
fine-tuned, final adjustments made
and the system prepared for
day-to-day operation.
We train and mentor
For any system to be used to its
full potential, user confidence and
acceptance is key. So we train your
staff, individually or in a lecture
environment, and produce a full set
of procedures for your reference.
We prepare to launch
We import the data from your legacy
systems into your new Access
solution, using routines that ensure
everything is as seamless and secure
as possible. Then just before going
live, you test the system we’ve
built - ensuring it meets every
expectation.
You go’ live’
As you switch over from your old
system we’re there to make certain
that live operation goes without a
hitch - and without the need to run
old systems in parallel. Then we
formally hand over to you, and your
team.
We review and we respond
The more you use the system, the
more you’ll realise what it’s
capable of. So after a few weeks,
we’ll undertake a formal
comprehensive review, getting
feedback from your users and your
project team. And if adjustments are
needed, or additional modules and
services required, we’ll agree the
changes with you.
